i grew up; an art journal.

i guest designed for Creative Therapy this month. the post hasn’t gone up yet, for a reason i don’t know, but i had to upload the whole journal on flickr in order for them have a link to link to when the post does go up.

they wanted me to create something in answer to the question, ‘where did you grow up?’ which was the perfect question for me. i’ve been avoiding art journaling about having to leave the family home last year, this gave me the kick up the ass i needed.

So sorry Rhi..that sucks.  Once my mother tried to groom our Himalayan cat with a flow-be (essentially clippers attached to the VACUUM).  It was a massacre and the cat HATED the vacuum after that.

It’s funny now, but the cat was pissed blind.  When mother bought that god-awful contraption it was ‘to save money’ on haircuts…and she did b/c we all started growing our hair out!
