I am home from Easter Road Trip 09. M almost died. I now know what people are bitching about when they refer to ‘substandard emergency room care’. I was more afraid at that ER than when he is dodging bullets. Home is wonderful and not to be taken for granted, at least for a while. Although, I have a shit ton of laundry to do now.

I lost my favorite necklace today. The one M had made for me for Mother’s day when he was in Baghdad.
